Buoyancy Lab (Boats)
We used three different boats that were able to hold lots of pennies. The boat that held the most pennies was Alex's penny which held over 30 pennies. It had an indent in the middle and Alex dropped the pennies around the dent. The other boats held below 30. If water had gotten into the boat and the water had salt in it then the boat would sink quicker. But if water hadn't got into it, the boats would hold longer. Salt water is more dense than fresh water. So the higher the salinity the more dense it is. Dense water is found at the bottom.
