Water Density (Salinity)
In this lab we used different amounts of salt in water to measure the density. The green represented the highest amount of salinity. The blue contains 4 spoons of salt and the red layer contains the least amount of salt. Density affects the objects in the water. The saltier the water is, the more buoyant the object becomes. Very salty water us more dense and will sink more. It is found at the very bottom. Less salty is less dense and will float on top of the very salty water.
